Gwen and her husband, Don, operate a chair caning and basket business in Arab, Alabama. They learned to cane and weave chair seats through classes at the Folk School and began teaching here in 2001. They also demonstrate chair caning at craft shows and schools, and are members of the SeatWeaver's Guild.
