Paint your own mountain landscape using a variety of watercolor techniques. Use layering and texturing with a touch of fantasy to create your own unique expression, inspired by the beautiful Southern Appalachian scenery surrounding this green valley. A love of nature is a plus! All beginning students eager to try watercolor and intermediate students with a passion for experimenting with the media are welcome. PLEASE NOTE: This class is for 12-17 year olds to attend with a parent, grandparent, or guardian -- 1 youth per 1 adult. IF VIEWING THIS CLASS ONLINE, we ask that you call the office to register at 1-800-365-5724 (Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST.) Youths will receive a $100 discount on tuition.

WITHDRAWAL AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Because of registration costs and other services, including faculty contracts, material acquisitions and housing arrangements, the Folk School is required to charge cancellation fees to students who change their itineraries.
  • Once students are accepted into a class, our cancellation policies apply, regardless of the reason for canceling.
  • Cancellation of enrollment more than 30 days prior to the first day of class results in a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit.
  • Cancellation of enrollment within 30 days of the first day of class results in a cancellation fee of 100% of the deposit.
  • No tuition, deposit, housing or meals refunds will be made after the start date of a class.
  • Registrations are not transferable.
  • Students who cancel their enrollment in a class to transfer to another class are charged the cancellation fee, plus the deposit for the class to which they wish to transfer.
