Intermediate Book Repair - Family Bibles
Date: Sunday, Sep 2 - Saturday, Sep 8, 2018
Subject: Book Arts
Instructor: Dea Sasso
Share:

Holy Bibles have special meaning for us, for our families, and in the world of bookbinding. Bring a precious Bible and restore it to its important place in your personal history. Large or small, we will evaluate and correct each problem, including paper cleaning and repair; rebuilding hinges and corners; resewing as necessary; and conditioning and preserving leather/cloth, touching up areas on the cover that are faded and worn. It will look new and old at the same time. Depart with an heirloom and a special understanding of this unique corner of bookbinding. Due to time factors, experience in book repair is desired - contact the instructor to discuss your prior experience.

Prior to registering, please read our General Information and Policies.
