Marbling and Bookbinding
Date: Sunday, May 17 - Saturday, May 23, 2020
Subject: Marbling, Book Arts
Instructor: Judith BeersPat Thomas
Share:

Take two historic journeys in one week. Voyage in floating colors, learning how to "comb" antique patterns that look like bouquets of flowers and peacock feathers - or invent new patterns! Then progress into the world of hand bookbinding. Transform simple materials (paper, cloth, book boards, glue, thread) into traditional sewn books for journaling or gifting to bibliophiles. Depending on time and interest, other book structures such as miniatures or accordions can be added to the itinerary. No prior experience required.

Prior to registering, please read our General Information and Policies.

Tuition: $630.00
Deposit: A deposit of $150.00 will be due upon checkout to hold your seat in this class.
