Beginning Techniques Date: Sunday, May 9 - Saturday, May 15, 2021 Subject: Blacksmithing Instructor: David Cayton Share: Learn the basics of building and maintaining a fire, as well as hammer control, and start making small projects - hooks, leaves, and decorative pieces. With your foundational skills in hand, progress to larger items including fire pokers and shovels. Work with several types of forge welds and unravel the mystery of tempering.
