*CANCELED* Build a Knock-down Timber Frame Bench Date: Sunday, May 9 - Saturday, May 15, 2021 Subject: Woodworking Instructor: Peter Bull Share: Lay out and build your own 4- to 6- foot long Douglas fir bench using joinery common to timber framing. With wood forming the connections, the bench will knock down for easy transportation and storage. Correct use and sharpening of hand tools such as chisels will be discussed, and portable power saws will be used to lighten the workload. Basic woodworking tool experience is required, along with hand strength and dexterity. Note: Additional materials fee is estimated at $125.
