Exploring Color and Pattern Date: Sunday, May 23 - Saturday, May 29, 2021 Subject: Enameling, Jewelry Instructor: Kathryn Osgood Share: Create colorful patterned surfaces on copper with vitreous enamels using layered opaques and transparents, silver foil under transparents, luster decals, sgraffito, stencils, rubber stamps, graphite, underglaze pencils, and enamel paints. Also try sugar-firing and adding elements such as seed beads, microbeads, glass threads, and frit. Enameling on 2- and 3-D surfaces will be demonstrated, along with ideas for jewelry settings.
