Bottles to Art Date: Sunday, July 25 - Friday, July 30, 2021 Subject: Glass, Jewelry, Stone, Sculpture & Mosaics Instructor: Steve Smith Share: Millions of wine bottles are discarded every year - but their thickness and color variety make them perfect for an array of recycling projects. Learn how to cut bottles and melt glass in a kiln. Then use it to produce a variety of artistic glass pieces - add jewelry findings to create pendants; arrange on a backing, adhere, and grout for mosaic tiles; and design wind chimes and garden ornaments for outdoor charm.
