Caning and Weaving Chair Seats Date: Sunday, Aug 15 - Friday, Aug 20, 2021 Subject: Chair Seats Instructor: Gwen Chafin Share: Give your favorite old chair or stool new life and usefulness, and have a great time weaving a new seat. We'll use lace cane, pressed cane, binder cane, wooden splints, seagrass, flat fiber, and Shaker tape to resurrect our chosen furniture. Beginning and intermediate students can expect to complete one to five projects. Chairs and stools should be clean and in good repair prior to class.
