Old-time Fiddle Date: Sunday, Aug 15 - Friday, Aug 20, 2021 Subject: Music Instructor: Jane Rothfield Share: Learn (by ear) a variety of fun, old (and some new) tunes from old-time sources, including "Uncle" Norm Edmonds, Tommy Jarrell, Owen "Snake" Chapman, and more. Use the instructor's tried-and-true method to play with more musicality, making tunes come alive with bowing and rhythm, chords and double stops, and harmony. Discover how to pick up a tune on the fly and how to have a musical "conversation" as you jam. Intermediate students should be able to play up to 10 tunes at a moderate tempo.
