Hat Blocking - From Prep to Party Date: Sunday, Aug 15 - Friday, Aug 20, 2021 Subject: Unique Offerings Instructor: Jan Wutkowski Share: Blocking is fundamental to most hat shapes, but many people do not have access to the traditional, collectible forms. Learn how to properly use blocks for a felt or straw hat. Those beginning in millinery will study best practices in brim edges, hat bands, and proper fitting, and will learn to finish hats. Experienced makers will use a variety of hat blocks to create a wide range of styles to finish at home. This hat blocking party is for everyone!
