Traditional Hewing and Carving Spoons and Bowls Date: Sunday, Sep 18 - Saturday, Sep 24, 2022 Subject: Woodcarving, Woodworking Instructor: Rodney Hopkins Share: Using an axe, hatchet, adze, knives, and gouges, learn to carve decorative and functional spoons and bowls. You'll learn traditional techniques, but your designs are open to your imagination! Work with a variety of wood species, primarily green, and expect to complete final sanding and finishing at home. Leave with some spoons, at least one bowl, and a big bowl full of knowledge. All levels welcome; moderate upper body and hand strength is required.
