Marquetry-style Table Date: Sunday, Oct 23 - Saturday, Oct 29, 2022 Subject: Woodworking, Woodturning Instructor: John Rudert Share: Spend a week building a veneered tilt-top pedestal table in the style of your choice (Colonial, Federal, Shaker, etc.). Construct your round, oval, or rectangular veneered top with an inlay, then mount it to the pedestal with a tilting mechanism for easy storage. This project will develop your skills on the lathe and bandsaw, and introduce techniques of veneering and marquetry. Prior woodworking skills are helpful.
